Autumn Leaves Blackbird

I got this GREAT kit from ScrappersXchange! This line is PERFECT for scrapping pics of my girls. Once I pulled the kit out I had this layout done in less then 20 minutes, and I love it. I've had this picture sitting around for 2 years waiting for the right paper -- and this was it!

I'll share more in a few days from this same kit :)

Another Small Gem From the Scenic Route Kraft Kit . . .

Hey There!

Wow, there are many great things that can be said about ScrappersXchange kits, but one of the best is that they just keep on producing! What a great value especially, when most of us have to buckle down and really watch what we are spending. Here is another little gem created from the kit and I still have some paper and plenty of embellies left!

Another kit sample!

Time for another sample from the kit i worked with this month

and some detail.. the polka dots are zots brand glue dots stuck to the page, then coated with micro beads. I am LOVING microbeads lately! they are so much fun, albeit messy!!

Some more examples of using the WRMK Flock/Glitter Rub-ons

These have been fun to work with. I love both the flocking and glittering results that I've gotten. Great, even coverage, and it was SUPER EASY!

Here's a layout (the word MY is made using the flocking) and a card (the HI uses the glitter) for examples:

Both the layout and the card feature the NEW Sassafras Lass Woodland Whimsy line that you can find at SX here:

Kit creation #3!

here's another! its a journal. Thought i'd throw in an altered item to change it up a bit.
I cut out the surf boards from the strip patterned paper, and arranged them to form a flower. I also smashed the bottle cap with a hammer, which was easy and really effective!
I was excited to find in an old poetry book a poem that is actually ABOUT gratitude, which is the subject of my journal. One thing that i discovered is that when dealing with an old brittle book, it is really easy to tear the pages, so keep the distressing to a minimum!

Here's the second installment of "What Rebecca made with her kit" :-)

I loved working on this layout. I remember when i took these pictures. I was trying really hard to capture Leif completely COVERED in sand. This Scenic Route line was PERFECT for what i was hoping to capture, that being Leif's brute manliness. :-)

PS. Don't forget about the ROCKING sale in the shop right now!!! Its only good through tomorrow, so hurry!!

New page from my kit!
